This warranty covers any deterioration in the cell structure of the
materials that causes the mattress to have a visible indentation
greater than three-fourths (0.75) of an inch, not associated with a
sag in the foundation, box springs, or platform. It also covers any
physical flaw in the mattress that causes the material to split or
crack despite normal usage and proper handling. If such defects
occur during the remaining ten (10) years of this limited warranty
we will, at our option, repair the mattress at a handling cost to
you, or replace the mattress at a prorated charge to you.
During the first year of the prorated,
10-year period, the prorated replacement charge will be fifty (50)
percent of the original purchase price. The prorated charge will
increase by five (5) percent for each subsequent year of the prorated
period.
Our mattress has been designed to work
with a firm, wood, completely flat, non-spring foundation. Our warranty
and other performance guarantees are based on tests conducted on our
mattresses with such foundations as "sets." THEREFORE, SUBSTITUTING
INAPPROPRIATE MANUFACTURERS' FOUNDATIONS OR BOX SPRINGS IS NOT
ACCEPTABLE AND WILL VOID YOUR Tempur-Pedic® SWEDISH MATTRESS™ WARRANTY
AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT
LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. You may be required to provide proof as to the
quality of the foundation being provided to your mattress in the event
of a warranty claim.
The terry-cloth mattress cover is
warranted for two (2) years against faults in material or workmanship.
All warranties contained herein shall not
apply if the mattress, foundation, or cover has been physically abused,
damaged, burned, cut or torn.
This warranty is valid only to the
original purchaser of the product. If the original purchaser sells the
product, the subsequent purchaser takes the product "as is" and "with
all faults." All transportation costs are the responsibility of the
purchaser and are additional to any prorated charges. If you did not
purchase the mattress directly from Tempur-Pedic®, Inc., you must provide
proof of purchase for any warranty claim. You may contact the

1-800-821-6621. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights.
